96SNAKE, I am doing FUSA in August, but that's on the 13th. I love FUSA and always try not to miss it.
R6JUNKIE, I do not recall Glenn spraying the track that on July 2. We had only few getoffs, no chopper came, very little down time. I did 8 or 9 sessions - most I've done in one track day ever (it's my 3rd season). I am not even sure whether he was riding.
firefighter81, they do require safety wiring in more advanced group. I am in the middle group now, and I was asked (not mandatory) to safety wire my oil drain plug next time I do oil change.
Dennis, is that you? Yeah, pictures help a lot. Like last year, I saw a picture of me from behind - holy cow! my back was so crooked. In this last picture, I noticed my foot position is wrong - pointing outside instead of inside. Pictures like that are invaluable as there is no other way to know what you are doing wrong. Thanks a lot, buddy!
DazzaP, I am average built, and can tell you firsthand that all this talk about 'Busa's weight is overly exagerrated. Especially considering the fact that CG is very low. Unless you race where every bit of weight/handling counts, the 'Busa is just fine for all kinds of riding. Bottom line, it's weight is not a limiting factor. In all track days, and all upstate NY roads I ride, there is only one place (set of Esses) where it takes an effort to throw the bike first hard to the right, and immediately hard to the left. All other times, it's not a problem at all. I do workout however - to stay healthy, and because riding a bike is a physically demanding activity.
Thanks for nice comments to all you guys.
