I have a '99 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Ever since i had it, it makes a whining noise no matter if the clutch is in or out. The pitch varies with the rpm of the engine. The engine does not seem to have a lack of power though. The guy that I bought it from said that the reason that it makes that noise is that it is a v-4 instead of and inline-4. I am an automobile mechanic but I know nothing about motorcycles. Please help me.
