New to The forum and new to this bike. Bought a meth head special fixer upper. Ridden hard, oil never changed. Got the motor running, wiring straightened out.
I went to test the bike in gear on it stand. With the clutch fully engaged at the lever, the rear tire spun at a very low RPM. I could stop it with my hand. I talked to a guy in a specialty shop here and he said check the clutch plates. I removed the right side cover, removed all five bolts and springs, placed them on the cover in the location they were supposed to be. Removed the outer piece set it down bottom side up. Removed each plate and inspected it and stack them in the order they came off. Reverse the process to reinstall and now when I go to squeeze the clutch lever it does not travel far enough to push out the clutch on the right. The discs almost seem loose in place. I have disassembled and reassembled twice to make sure everything is per diagram and the way that it came off. I have even removed the left cover where the cable comes in and double check to make sure the bearing wasn't Frozen and everything was correct. It seems to be per diagram. I have loosened the 12 mm bolt on the left side cover under the rubber grommet and screwed the set screw in so the right side of the rod makes contact with the pressure plate but when I do that and squeeze clutch it doesn't move at all.Any ideas? Problem solved. I had rotated the outer clutch basket cover by one screw and wasn't lining up. Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice and help. Lmfao. Peace

I guess the problem was just too difficult for the 70 plus people that looked at the question. I'll hold on to this forum just in case I have a question about what stickers to put on my bike.
