anybody here start off on a 500 and then move to a 750 the next year or is this a crazy thing to do?

600 or 750 would be fine, basically going to any bike is fine as long as you're a responsible rider and don't get carried away or act to stupid on it....
just respect whatever it is you ride.....

I had a F4i for my 1st as well and loved the switch to the 750.

If you like to ride in the twisties, the 750 might be overwhelming. If you do more straight-line stuff, you might as well go for the b***** bike.

I got a ZX7 after riding a friends 250ex for about 20 mins and an F3 for about an hour. So I'd think that you'd be fine but it really depends on you as a rider

i do alot of riding in town and around the suburbs. is a 750 better suited for traffic riding than a 600?
