Trump will eat him alive. Does ANYONE really believe America wants an establishment guy who on any given day does not even know who/where he is?

This will be a ROUT.

Lets all go on the record with a) who we are gonna vote for, and why, and b) who will win the election and by how much.

I'm voting Trump. I can't stand his behavior, but I LOVE most of his policies. He finally is a Prez who actually puts America first. IF the Dems could actually produce a moderate, I might be persuaded to vote for him/her, but their offerings are simply laughable. Trump will win in a landslide.

Oh boy,

Looks like Biden VS Trump. This will be the longest election cycle every.

Eric
It already has been. Trump started his reelection campaign a few days after his inauguration. You could make a good case that he hasn't done much else in the last three years.

The campaign to replace him started for real a year or so ago. I'm not thrilled with Biden, but by comparison to Trump, he's a rocket scientist and a man with impeccable moral and personal qualities. Given the choice, I would prefer to see John Kasich on the GOP ticket and Amy Klobuchar or Kamala Harris on the Democratic ticket. At this point, I would take Mitt Romney and say thank you.

I don't agree with any of them entirely or some at all, either, but they would be improvement over Trump. I would have to think pretty hard about Romney or Kasich over Biden for a number of reasons, but it's not a choice I will have to make.

Did any one happen to check Trumps schedule yesterday, you know while the market was crashing last week, Donny boy went to Florida for the weekend. What sane president would leave DC while we are on the doorstep to not one but two national crisis. My 401k lost 13% since feb 1st. Can’t wait to see what today brings.

The man works 15 hour days almost every day. For ZERO pay, by the way. On that alone, he can play golf whenever he wants.

By the way, remember when Obama went to play golf IMMEDIATELY after a quick presser after one of our American journalists got his head chopped off by ISIS? Yeah. You get my point.

The turnout for primaries today will be worth watching. My guess is it will be way down. Washington had near record primary turnout, all mail in. Florida has something north of two million mail in votes in hand already. It would be tough for Russian bots to hack mail-ins, another plus.

On another note, it sure looks like Moscow Mitch is in full press mode to pack the judiciary with wingnuts. That's as good a sign as any that the orange guppy's reign of error is close to over. And maybe Moscow Mitch's tenure as the ultimate fucker of the system. When the GOP are out of power, I'll enjoy watching the crap they set in motion used to break it off in their hides. They have it coming.

Check his schedule, it does not at up to 15 hours. Trump has never worked 15 hours a day in his life.

And why would he work 15 hours a day when he’s saying things like this. He clearly did not care to stop a listen to anyone but his lacky’s.

January 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. It’s going to be just fine.”
February 2: “We pretty much shut it down coming in from China.”
February 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA… Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”
February 25: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus.”
February 25: “I think that's a problem that’s going to go away… They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.”
February 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”
February 26: “We're going very substantially down, not up.”
February 27: “One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”
February 28: “We're ordering a lot of supplies. We're ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn't be ordering unless it was something like this. But we're ordering a lot of different elements of medical.”
March 2: “You take a solid flu vaccine, you don't think that could have an impact, or much of an impact, on corona?”
March 2: “A lot of things are happening, a lot of very exciting things are happening and they’re happening very rapidly.”
March 4: “If we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work — some of them go to work, but they get better.”
March 5: “I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work.”
March 5: “The United States… has, as of now, only 129 cases… and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!”
March 6: “I think we’re doing a really good job in this country at keeping it down… a tremendous job at keeping it down.”
March 6: “Anybody right now, and yesterday, anybody that needs a test gets a test. They’re there. And the tests are beautiful…. the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Right? This was not as perfect as that but pretty good.”
March 6: “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it… Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”
March 6: “I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn't our fault.”
March 8: “We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus.”
March 9: “This blindsided the world.”
March 13: "I don't take responsibility at all."
March 17: "The country is very strong - -it has never been so strong."

So while there’s an epidemic that’s kills 3 out of every 100 (Flu is 1 in 1000 and less contagious) and has now forced a 1 trillion dollar bail out, you think it’s okay for Trump to play golf. WOW!

Looks like Biden will be the nominee to face Trump. Trump officially won the GOP primary, but that's a given. The last primary challenge that almost got somewhere was Kennedy challenging Carter back in 1980. I'm not sure when the last time a sitting president was ousted in a primary, or if it has ever happened.

So, we get our choice of old guys. A fat guy and a wiry guy. We are headed into a recession, which means people who don't pay much attention will have the economy bite them in the butt. The economy has powered through a whole lot of things that surprised me, but this is one more and it is too much. The Fed can't do anything about it, and the current bailout may or may not have any effect. It won't if the nation ends up locked down. It will have an effect.

Overall demand is going to slow, has too as people are being told to stay home. The domestic auto industry is not producing cars, trucks and SUV’s for two weeks, the travel and entertainment industry has all but stopped. We are going to see a large decline is durable goods purchases.

Weak US business will run out of money waiting for demand to return and they will close. The $1000 is not going to save us.

This will weigh heavy on American’s as they vote. Trump shut down the early warning agency’s started after the Ebola scare. He’s not going to shake that.

Most Americans with a functioning brain realize that China did this to us......and it has nothing to do with Trump. Yes, Trump tried to tamp down the initial hype by the media....for obvious reasons. What MATTERS is that the administration is acting rapidly to help the average citizen who needs help, and companies that will temporarily be in dire straits.

Stop trying politicize this.....it is despiciable.

I don't know what the average American will or won't do in November. It's going to depend somewhat on the amount of bullshit and propaganda that gets through and whether there are facts or not. People believed a bunch of crap in the past, and Trump has exploited the fact that people don't pay attention all along. Whether he gets held to account or not will depend on whether enough people are actually paying attention or whether he continues to get away with taking credit for things he didn't do and avoiding any responsibility for much of anything.

I only have one vote, and it's in a state that is somewhat disenfranchised by the electoral college. GOPers like to whine about undeserved privilege, while conveniently forgetting that it has taken a disconnect between the popular vote and the electoral college for a Republican to win two out of the last three GOP presidential wins. The country is not a majority of the slobbering reactionaries the right seems to think it is.

Watch voter suppression efforts in places like Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia. Jim Crow is coming right back as fast as the GOP can make it come back, since that's their way of keeping a grip on power. Wingnut Bolshies know they don't win without stacking the deck. And any downturn will make their efforts more transparent and more urgent. It will unfold if you choose to watch.

What!

China didn’t do crap and yes, Trump has a direct roll in this.

After the Ebola incident, Obama established the National Security Council Pandemic Unit and allocated money to monitor pandemics in foreign countries to prevent pandemics in the United States. Their job was to monitor and advise the president and administration on issues that may impact the US. HELLO!

So yes, Trump is directly responsible. But I guess his big fucking brain was all we needed. NOT! And now you can spend your $1000 socialism check Trump has to give you. Congratulations!

Amp,

Are you responding to tinkie-wink the troll? He just wants attention. It gets lonely in mommy's basement where he has nothing to play with except his toy cars and trucks. So, he says stupid stuff on the internet. Ignore him. That's the only reasonable way to deal with a loser like that.

China didn't do crap? Really? Care to elaborate? I know your ilk loves to blame America first, but try to think for yourself and ask yourself, WHERE did this virus eminate from, and how long did the Chi-Coms try to cover it up? But for their lies, we would not even be dealing with this shit.

Socialism check? My familiy income is WAY above the 150K limit, but I am sure you will enjoy yours. Of course, as much as you hate Trump, you could always sent it back, right. Riiiight.......
