thanks.

going to try and get a track day in beforehand. thinking MAM 7/14 or hpt 7/20.

cra is @ brainard the 1st week in Aug.
have you been on the track this year?

do you have your race license? if so, how did that go? I assume you get some track time in when you go to race school. Or maybe you're planning to go straight from race school to racing?

No i havent been on the track yet this year.

basically the schedule looks like this:

fri day 1 - race school, practice and new riders race. (pass and get license)
sat day 2 - practice and race day. looking at maybe doing 3 - 6 lap sprint races
sun - day 3 endurance races. not planning on participating, might watch.

brainard is quite the drive though, so will want to come home sunday maybe late morning. track looks fun though. some fast corners which i like.

yes, the long drive is what really spoils any enthusiasm I might have to try out that track.

I barely made it to the track 3 times last year. Unless I'm planning to get in at least 5 race days, I can't make the commitment. My bike is fully race ready now except for the coolant though.

and I don't want to slap a big number sticker on top of my already cool stickers. :)

yea i hear ya, will have to go back to the yellow plate. may just stick it on temp.

might try it again depending on how the day goes. tim seems to really like it.

nice thing is that practice day really is cheap compared to track day prices and you pay per race. a transponder is required though.
