Let's start off with 600RR

CBR600RR:

Only new items are colors.
red/black (only model w/abs)
pearl orange/black
"Leyla"
The Leyla has got to be the dumbest scheme in the history of motorcycles. It's a train wreck+vomit. It has a woman on it that resembles Marilyn Monroe.

CBR1000RR:

* Increased-diameter flywheel for more inertia and improved performance.
* Redesigned license plate stay for easier removal on track days.
* New muffler cover for enhanced appearance.
* Exciting new colors: Pearl Orange/Light Metallic Silver and Red/Black. C-ABS model available in Black only.

The orange/silver combo looks like vomit as well.

Wow. Just checked out the pic of that Leyla scheme. Terrible.

Look real close, and you can see a deck of cards, and 8-ball, a wad of cash, and a 777 in light gray all over.

Did they get their inspiration from a shitty tattoo parlor or something? Hey how about a bike with an OEM flaming dragon graphic?

Just terrible.

What did you expect as a follow up to that horrible "graffetti" scheme? Yuck!

I think the work on the 600rr is a little lazy, then again I didnt like the graffiti design or the pheonix. I figured they would have found a better solution for a tail light and plate bracket though...

The 1000rr designs I am kind of digging, I'd have to see them in person to be sure.

i'm surprised the 600RR wasn't at least updated a bit. as far as i know, the only changes mechanically is the optional ABS and a valve in the exhaust/ different ECU programming that resulted in LESS power. this is year #4 on this generation.

i'm guessing the recession has killed the every other year updates???

The recession definitely put a damper on new bikes. I think we can expect to see more of the same from the other Japanese manufacturers.

My god when is honda going to change the 600rr? It has basically looked the same since 03. I mean yes they have made big performance changes but can we get some new headlight designs for crying out loud?

I think the 1000 looks badass in person. It's pictures aren't flattering.
