I already have a Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit installed so most of the plastic is already removed... It was a pain in the you know what installing that thing cutting all the plastic out. Not looking forward doing it all over again but at least this time I know where to start and have some pictures to go by.
It also helps that I have the same brand undertail as the right up too.
I sprayed it Gloss Black not Candy Plasma Blue as my bike to give it a little contrast... I'll be installing it Wednesday of this week I'll post some Before and After Pics.
Yep if you look at the pics on posts #2 and #19 of this thread you will see that the undertail has a very distinctive shape to it.
Here's the Mototeck undertail that I have had installed on my 2006 ZZR since January of 2006. I know its pricey but you get what you pay for considering mine has been on the bike for 7 years with no issues.
I like that style, but it is pricey. I'm going to take care of some more maintenance first, but I might get it this summer.
What kind of cuts did you have to make? Previous owner on my bike basically chopped the battery box back, but there is still a good amount of tray for storage. I guess I could try it as is, or worst case there are full battery box/undertails on fleaBay for 20-30 bucks...
Ok, I bought some "Proton" flush mount led's and was told they would fit the ZZR600. I spent roughly 4-5 hours on my bike only to come away with the stock ones put back on since they looked like crap.
These are the ones I bought. They were cool except for the fact that they left a big gap...
someone posted this on my local forum. there probably not the highest quality but i dig the black red bull one. not a big fan of the flames though. Motorcycle Fairings Sportbike Fairings Honda Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki Ducati Body Kits Fairing
For any of you that purchased a Euro-spec ECU, please PM me with the mods you have, and any suggestions from your experiences.
I am running NGK Iridium plugs, Yosh RS3 can without the insert, K&N filter, Dynojet Stage 1 kit, 124 inner jets, 122 outer jets, clip on third slot on needle, 2 turns...
This is assuming you know how to remove your tank and airbox. If not let me know. Get a brass 5/8" spacer 2 " long with clamps, a 7/32 vacuum plug, and a 5/8" vacuum plug. You can get all of those at an auto parts store.
There are other ways to do this, this is one of them, others will say...
dennis kirk lists them for our bikes, it advances the timing by 4 degrees, i think im gonna pick one up, they are only 60 bucks or so.
anyone else hear of this or maybe have one? since i only run 92+ octane i dont think i would run into detonation problems.
