Just got the new Yamaha FZ6 S2 ABS (2007). Is anybody here have new Galfer aluminium brake lines (http://galferusa.com/html/superlight_lines.html) installed on 2007 FZ6 S2 ABS?

I found two part numbers in Galfer latest PDF catalog (downloaded it from here http://galferusa.com/html/new_lines.html)

- FK002D585 (front)
- FK002D585R (rear)

These are meant for 2007 FZ6, but, I`m not sure if ABS vesrion has the same brake lines. Official Galfer distributor asks me about the following (when I try to order online): "A 1 line front kit will be $70 and a 2 line front kit is $130 a 3 line front kit is $170. The rear lines are the same. I quoted all kits because I'm not sure how many lines you have for ABS brake system. "

So, I need some advise. My Yamaha dealer can`t anwer this question, because S2 ABS has not armored brake lines option. I see (on official photos) that ABS version has more break lines than non-ABS version.

Please, help.

I'm not going to help you with your question cus I cant, but I gotta ask...Why are you getting new brake lines on a new bike?
I'm not trying to be an ass, but it seems pointless to me, unless its just for aestetics (which doesn't make sense to me either).

The brake lines are not going to be the same because they need to go to an abs box in between the calipers and the master cylinder.
