THis link apparently has all the possible styles/combos regarding new exhaust and not so pretty nose. If it keeps getting this kind of response I doubt they will keep it come release time. But, as far as performance all you Runners, i mean R1ers, just quit crying and buy a gixxer.....you've punished yourself long enough.

EWWWWWWWWW... Yuk!!! I thought things were supposed to get better as time passed--I guess Suzuki doesn't follow that on some of their bikes!

FUGLY!! I don't like the front at all--it looks better the way it is right now! Don't know what kind of yahoos they have in their design department but they need some new people in there--the ergos and just overall design is way too bulky IMO.

And of course you know Suzuki makes tons of 1000s--not like Kawi and Yamaha that only make a certain amount. So Suzuki then tries to get rid of all of last year's bikes on the floor... blahhhhhhhh

No thanks, Gixxers don't fit my body at all!!! I wouldn't buy one--no thanks! I have to be comfortable when I ride..... NOW the 04 R1 that I have just recently sat on in a dealership is about the only 1000 that fits me great....hmmmmmm....

You hit it right on the money, B...It dosen't even have a can...And look at how high the handlebars are...No way in hell Zuki would put that bike in the pic on the street...

I think you and B are wrong on this one Jon. The bike is MotoGP inspired. The handle bars look the same as the pic w/ Kenny Roberts in the 1st post. And as far as it not having a can on the exhaust... Check out Kenny Roberts and John Hopkins MotoGP bikes in these photos...

Rob, can you imagine how loud that pipe would be...You wouldn't get off the dealership lot and they'd have you pulled over...

Remember, it's a computer generated drawing...When the bike show that will showcase the 05's comes around, then all the questions will be answered...Until then, I'll sit back and enjoy the different ideas...

Remember guys. MCN is know for their "artist impressions" that don't look anything like the real thing. They were wrong before and they will be wrong again.

Like Jon & OEM said....MCN is all about trying to put out all the "artist impressions" they can, there are like 6 different versions on their site....that way when the real deal comes out, they can say "you saw it here first". There's no way the goverment will allow a bike (legally) to run an open exhaust.

I can't wait to see the real one. Whatever it is, I think it will be an improvement over the current model.

Besides, even if it is ugly, Id probably still buy it if it performed better than the older one. Hell, I bought my 03 in spite of me not liking the "Busa-esque" front end.

I'm sawwie, but I hate it with a passion!! Suzuki is killing our gixxers!! I wasn't too happy about the '04 front end looking like a busa front, but now this!! I can't take it!! I'm throwing a fit right now...it's sooo f****** ugly!! I hope that pic was just an idea gone wrong. If not, I don't think anyone is going to buy it. Nasty!!! :boid to Suzuki :barf
