Hello, I bought a 89 FZR 600 recently and it was almost completely torn down when I purchased it. One of my biggest questions is how do I run the fuel lines from the fuel pump to the carbs?

There are 4 carbs on the bike. In between carbs 1 & 2 and between 3 & 4 there is are white plastic fittings with hoses. Between carbs 2 & 3 there is a black plastic fitting at the top of the carb. On the bottom of carbs 3 & 4 there are 2 hoses that Y in to each other (I assume this is some sort of a drain feature).

Any information regarding these fittings would be awesome! Thanks.

i'm not familiar with that bike in particular, but in general it's however you want. Just make sure the line doesn't take any sharp corners so it won't kink. For gravity fed ones I also like to bleed it, i.e. make the line go only down to the carbs with no upward bends that can trap air, then hook it up and fill with fuel, followed by unhooking it enough to let the air out. Then put it in its final place.

Thats the problem. I bought the manual and it shows a breakdown of the carb and gas tank but doesnt show any of the hoses or routing. I have no idea where I should connect the fuel line and whether or not I need to split the fuel line with a "T". I cant seem to find the info anywhere, even with the service center diagrams. I guess Ill need to bring the bike in so they can figure it out.

looks like the standard setup. Fuel goes in between the middle carbs (tube that goes into 44, barely visible slightly to the up left from center of diagram) and gets sent to the outside ones through the middle carbs (through part 42, sealed by 41). The tubes between 1,2 and 3,4 are vents (43).

So one fuel line.

how to actually run it is up to you. should be pretty easy to find something workable. just remember that it has to be all smooth turns when the tank is in its final place. So send it around the other shit that's there accordingly.
