Hi guys!

As the title says, when downshifting (at higher rpms) I get a shuttering, almost feels like the rear wheel is skidding (but its not).

This also happens when I accelerate up to 10,000+ RPMs, and let off the gas.

*This started last year, and its getting noticeably worse.
(front/rear sprocket and chain, have been replaced, so its not that?)

Could this be a worn clutch?
I've been lurking through the forums but can't get an answer.

Thanks guys

Dennis

Could it be the clutch or clutch adjustment? The dampers inside the rear wheel hub (behind the sprocket) missing or wore out? Chain stretched in one spot?

Thanks, I replaced the clutch (clutch kit) a few days ago, still having the same issues. The chain has only 3000kms on it but I'll have a look to make sure.

The rear dampers - they have about 30,000kms on them. Not sure how long they usually last?
