for the most part, i like it. I'm not sure I like how large (fat) the tail is after the seat, and I know that the exhaust won't end up like that. or at least aftermarket will solve that problem.

it might just be my monitor, but it looks to me like it is a one piece frame. as in the subframe isn't bolted on. I don't like that one bit. and i'm not crazy about the way the signals in the mirrors look, but LED bulbs might help that too.
hey its a zuki i'll ride it...
I don't like the mirrors/lights crap and I REALLY don't like the can. The tail design is pretty different looking to me too, as in a lot more skinny and very remincent of the R1/Kawi type seats (not as thick). I am hoping for Suzuki, that is not the final design...they say looks aren't everything, but damn if it don't help :D

I will be curious about the horsepower it will produce. Just to see how it compares w/the rest of the of the liter bikes.
 :a2 i think it's ugly as f**k looks like a "cracked out" R1 or Beneli Tornado gone bad.......
gonna have to change my focus for a new bike to Aprilla or Ducati......
It is up tp 999cc and has probably got TI valves along with 44mm throttle bodies to up the top end a few. The bike is smaller overall as well which is a disapointment to me. I am 6'2" and my 03 fits perfectly for a big rider. I have decided to keep my modified 03 and get some light wheels, rotors and 520 chain & sprockets. These changes will drop the weight of my 03 and decrease rotational inertia for faster acceleration and quicker transitions at speed. These changes along with the ones I have already made will be the best package for me personally since the 03 fits me so well.
look in the Florida forum...we're talking about it there also =)
looks like a photo-shopped mix between an R-1 and GSXR 1000
looks like suzuki is goin the same direction Chris bangel did with bmws. and that is to look like ass
It will look good in race trim, especially with a number 1 on it at Daytona this Spring.

Well, it looks bad now, like a number 20 just high-sided it into the gravel traps...
'05 gixxer..more than meets the eye

Ever heard that saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover".......what we have here is a wolf in sheeps clothing, awkwardly designed yes, but for a reason. Suzuki spends countless hours in the wind tunnel shaping their sportbikes to constantly decrease drag and thereby increase acceleration by allowing the bike to slip through the air with ease. Remember the more than ugly hayabusa, it was BORN in the tunnel, and is still a speed king today. This bike brings increased power, more refinement, and what does it really matter anyways? If you're on that suzi your buddies won't have time to complain about how ugly the front is, they'll be pissin themselves having nightmares about the rear LED's. :lol
So you mean it's like shaggin' an ugly chick with the lights off, pretending she's someone HOT?!

I understand now...

Been there, done that. It works! Had some memorable moments with the lights off... :lol

Actually, yeah that's it, and that is the stock exhaust, they sell a Yoshi/Suzuki slip-on for it. I love the tail section, think it looks great!
Looks great to me. (With a race pip on it)
When I get my 600 paid for, I will trade my 03 1000 in.
If I'm not making payments on a 999.
I here it's good for another grand on the tack with a closer gear ration to make up for the lose on the bottom.
