Hey there friends. Problem I'm having is new to me. The "Chec" is on occasionally during track sessions. Bike doesn't act overheated and not overheating on sessions when reading temperature. I noticed the next morning when the bike was cooled down, there was pressure when I took the cap off. What does that mean?? Thanks in advance, Rich

It means that the cap was sealed to the neck instead of venting pressure. The higher the pressure the higher the boiling point. So the bike actually could have been over temp when the computer read it.

Just replace the cap and scrub the neck out with scotchbrite or its equivalent. If it happens again, start chasing down your other cooling parts looking for a failure in the thermostat or the radiator itself with bent clogged fins.

Thanks for the advice. I just borrowed the cap from my RC51 and put it on the GSXR. I warmed it up till the fans came on. The "chec" was on right off the start from cold this time. Look forward the the result in the morning. Rich
