so i picked this R6 for a steal after the previous owner dropped it.. i've had it for about 2 months and i've been really trying to work on it and make it my own. i know it's not everyones style, but i'm doing what i can when i can.. i'll keep updating as things happen.. here's what i got so far..

day one.. just brought her home

did some paint, decided on the flat black.. did some high heat paint on the calipers..

replaced the beat up bar ends with some carbon fiber ones, started prepping for paint

finished the flat black added some red vinyl to see if i liked it.. color matched the horribly huge exhaust

that was the start

added undertail kit, LED rears, some temp flushies (the stockers were trashed from the drop) new pilot powers, carbon triple tree cover, red wheel tape, carbon fiber/gold sliders, gold shorty levers, flat blacked pass. pegs, gold rearsets, flat black midpipe

up next are new carbonfiber exhaust, carbonfiber mid fairings, cf tank protector, rear spindles, new front faring, angel eyes, cf chain guard, cf swing arm covers, cf front fender, and cf tire hugger.

What was damaged when you bought it? The exhaust didn't even look scratched. Was it dropped on the left side?

These bikes look best when they are blacked out (as much as you can afford to) and kept simple.

You should think about smoked flushmounts instead, the idea is to make the bike appear to not have blinkers until you use them. Gives it a clean look. Got mine for $40, cheap mod.

This is where im at. Just need to powder coat the rear sets and pegs and get a black chain and sprocket and i will be done.

There is a guy in my town who put the new R6 pipe in his R6S. Not sure if he modded the internals as well, but that sumbitch is loud as hell! Looks good on there too.
