Don't know about the tires but the leaning problem sounds more like a fork issue than a tire one.

 

I know, but I read the rear wheel may not be aligned correctly.. I believe I still have the stock tires on there though and if so I doubt alignment would be the problem.

 

dunlop 207... The 208 is its predecessor and the 07 was discontinued a while back.

Check the tire size too. Stock is 120/65/R17 front, and 180/55/R17 rear. I'm riding on Metzler Sportec M1's right now (actually a 120/60 front). I had some Continental Conti-Force tires before. They weren't bad, but I never pushed them. The lasted a long time.
