I little bit of help from those of you that know!

I'm about ready to pull the tr***** on an 01 GSXR-750. Black, Red, and silver with 14k on it. It is in GREAT shape with a YOSH can. The price is $4500.

Anybody know of any problems or concerns I should be aware of??

Any input would be appreciated.

Actually it was the 2000's that had problems with second gearing going out. As far as I know there are no real problems with the 2001.

I say if the bike is in excellent condition you're a fool if you don't buy it for $4500. Do it man!!!!

sounds like a good deal. the tranny issue was w/the 00's and early 01's from what I've heard.

Thats would be as close to free as you can get around these parts. Paid 6k for my '02 with 1200m on it. I'd buy that bike.

Thanks again for the input, the seller called me last night and I went and picked it up. I didn't get a chance to ride it much yet due to rain, but so far I'm impressed!!!!

You can't find a modern 600 in good shape for that price in these parts.
