Damn! That's cheap!!!
Honda East is actually one of the other places my buddy called, he buys about 30 bikes from them a year but they werent even returning his calls, probably because it was right after the dealer show and they were selling bikes left and right anyway(or because they knew the Gixx wouldnt be out for another month and a half anyway). They usually have great prices.

You do know that's for the 600, right? Not the 750.

Where in texas r you?? That's not a bad price. I have been out of riding for several years (having kids etc. etc.) I am back and forth over the 750 and 600, but I agree the mid range is better on the 600 and the colors on the 600 R SEXY!!!!!!

I'm looking at the 06 Gixx750 here in California, and I've been quoted at two different places for $11,200 OTD. Sounds like i'm gettin screwed. The insurance between the 600 and 750 is only $30 more for me.

Get the 600 and 11,200 is expensive, but, you are also buying at peak demand right now.

First off, what are the taxes and charges that you're paying Freight, Prep, Doc and taxes an registration?

Please list those and I'll tell you what you can get rid of.

MSRP on the 750's is 2006 GSX-R750 MSRP: $9,999.00

So 10,500 isn't all that bad especially since this is a peak time for people buying new bikes. I have an 05 750 it's the first bike I've bought that was brand new, and i went to several places before I bought one, as they tried to get me to pay 11,200 for an 05 750 when they first came out. Unless you know someone you aren't going to get a 06 750 for under 10k.

Edit: Try Ellicott City motorsports as a friend of mine bought an R1 from them and got a pretty good deal.
