Well, my 06 GSXR1000 has a similar noise at that RPM but only in neutral, like when I rev the engine. Suzuki told me (along with a few on some forums) that it's cause by the extra thin titanium...

Mine doesn't make the sound when riding it either....only when revving it. Everyone says its because of the titanium headers though.
