I'd be disappointed for 140hp on a 400lb bike too. That's just not nearly enough. 0-60 2.9 seconds. Try doing it 1.7 that'd be hardcore

Go "reb" your 1000 cpt. bad ass.
I have a 600cc bike and I keep up with all my buddies CBR 954rr and GSX 750 gixxers. It comes down to how you ride, but sooner or later the bigger engines will pull away on the high end but who really cares to go faster than 140? I've done 145 on my f4i and thats the fastest I'll ever want to go.

I had a 06 CBR600RR and had it up to 155. I have recently bought a CBR954RR and I still think the CBR600 would kick my new bikes butt any day at least where it counts on 0-60 runs. I have yet to get my 954 over 145.

Also, every dyno will be different...And I doubt they forced air during your run...

140-150hp on a stock 1KRR is about right...

If it's a DJ unit and all the test parameters are identical the difference should be insignificant. Unfortunately much of the run has too much to do with the tech as opposed to the bike. The other problem is steady state data which the DJ unit can not do as their test method is performed on a sweep. Correct, even a pressurized booth does not off the advantages of true ram air influences. So, the best test is to save the roller run money and test the bike against a clock on the track.

Where it really counts is 60mph to 100mph and this is where that 954 should walk all over the 600 because the 600 simply doesn't have the necessary muscle to get it done.

Your crazy, wishful thinking i guess.

the 945 is faster at the bottom and at the top. i dont believe your 954 you own i just think you threw it up here to say hey man 600RR is faster then my 954. maybe you blew a gadget and your running to 2 cylinders and the the frame is kinked really, really, badly, there is no comparison one is a super bike and the other is a toy they are not comparable. The 600rr is a toy you get your child to learn on before you get to the big boys the 1000s. The 600 is like the training wheel bikes, you get when your 4 years old before you get a real bike that you have to balance to ride. Anyone who says differently is lying, they know they paid to much for that toy and now they are saving their own asses by saying hey its a big boy toy hey its even faster i think at least 954. Dont waste your money on a 600 they are not worth the money and you will end up later selling it and then buying the true sport bike the one all the rest want to be the liter bikes.

You are so right , its about time someone spoke up and told the truth. I wish you would go and tell Ben Bostrom , Megal Duhamal, Jame Hacking this cuz they are making to much money riding them toys around. Such wisdom you have .

Angry

Are 750's toys? Suzuki has one that makes as much power as your 1000...

If suzuki only made a 1000.. Oh right, they do. Guess the other 1000s are just toys since they only make as much hp as suzuki's 750...
