a simple black leather jacket

I'm looking for a good black leather jacket that I can use during the summer/fall.
Most of my riding is on the expressway so I would like to pick something up that would give me the best protection at 60-80mph or so

pretty much anybrand will have a an all black jacket

alpinestars

icon (alot of people say bad things about them)

fieldsheer

tecknic

google different brands and check out what they offer. make sure whatever you get has CE armor in the shoulder elbow and back

check out www.newenough.com there are alot of good deals on there. check out the motogp jacket great price not sure of the blackness though

Start with Dainese, Vanson, Alpinestars, Fieldsheer and work your way down. Generally the Vanson and Fieldsheer stuff is more understated, 'simple'. Buy as much as you can afford. Avoid Icon.

How much are you looking to spend? What's your height/weight?

I've got an Alpinestar jacket I've been trying to sell for a while. Bought it last Sept. I believe. It's all black, has quilted removable vest liner. Good for summer and fall. And priced less than $200 (excluding shipping)

You can look at the old ebay listing for the photos of it...

I like the A* Stage jacket also. Great protection, perforated. I upgraded to CE back armor.
