best gamma pipe

What pipes are people running, and which is the best for the RG500?

I lament the lack of a good RG pipe tuned for mid-range. All manufacturers seem to tune for top RPM and peak hp at the expense of useful mid power.

I'm happy with my Jolly Moto GP's which are probably more suited to top end power but work well with ind. filters and re-jetting. But I can only compare them to stock pipes

I have 3 RG500 gammas. I've run the Jolly Moto gp pipes and the Tommy Crawford's. I can say from my limited experience, the crawford work real well on the gamma, give excellent mid range, come on the pipe early (6500 RPM), and sign off about 10500. I like em better than the jolly's, although the Jolly's look sweet. I'd like to hear from anyone with the Jim Lomas pipes for the RG. I have the Lomas on my RZ, very high quality, but very very top end biased pipe.

I heard that Stan Stephens got good results from modded stock pipes. That's to say the lower two pipes had their internal screening removed. However, there's still the weight question! My 2 cents.
