|DynojetResearch||You can temporarily pinch the air supply hose for the AIS while on the dyno with a pair of hemostats. This is essential for getting an accurate AFR reading. All dyno operators should know this. The block-off plates will keep the AIS disabled permanently, which should reduce deceleration popping but does not change power/torque output.|

Dynojet.com has the instructions in the download section.
Smog block off plates are the ONLY way to go if you're going to use the dyno the right way to tune it. If you aren't going to use the a/f ratios to tune it and just play around looking for highest HP, you're wasting time and $ on the dyno in the first place. The block off's keep the a/f ratio's accurate as they don't allow any fresh air to be le into the system.
