Shaman Either I didn't, and it was a forum screwup, or I posted it in the wrong thread... but I don't remember ever looking at this thread. Pictures were supposed to be in the member's pic thread.

Tilapia Hi.
I'm new to this forum, so bare with me if Im doing any f-ups. I'm Danish but live in Thailand where I have a GSX1000R from 2002, and I have problems with the (cdi box or ecu) it's called different names. I has blown-up twice now, and one main problem here is that there really are no shops who can fix them, so I buy a new box and the same thing happen. Does any here had simular problems, or is there something serious wrong with mine. Thanks.

k610/k2zx12 it is nice, only seen pictures. compared to the 06, the front end looks a more flat, and it will be interesting to see what happens when you put a shorty type exhaust on. the 05-06 lower fairing hides the pipe....lastly, if there is map setting on the controls, will it work once a power commander is installed....anyone know??

jk750 Thanks for that post! Saved me a lot of typing.

96snake, the stock chain is a 530 and the gearing is (was) 17/42.

mauigreen here's the spec sheet from Road Racing Worlds liter bike comparison
06-22-2006 08:38 PM
96SNAKE/03RR I just bought an 05(pick it up on Sat) but the prev owner put an accel kit on it and I think it's a 520. Since I don't think this will be a good idea for my track bike, I want to either go back to the stock 530 or a 525. Can someone tell me what the stock link number is for the k5 chain and if 17/42 is the stock sprockets like previous yrs?

Thanks!
