You are definitely broken in then. Not an issue with that. You should be getting the max fuel mileage the bike is capable of.

just for the record i'm fucken pissed about the b21's on my bike. i just hit 2400 miles today and i have just hit the wear bar on the front tire. what the fuck man 2400 miles and the best i could get will be 3000 but thats only if i push the fucker and not ride it. i call bull shit and the rear is about 1000 away from haveing to be replaced. man there gose another 400 bucks i didn't need to piss away. sorry needed to vent just a bit. work was a bitch this week. guess a vacation is in order.

BT021 are really bad for wear especially on the front tire. They have a replacement tire for that, the BT023 that just came out.

My suggestion: Metzeler Z6 or Michelin Pilot Road 2

Granted your bike is a heavy, high HP machine that is going to eat through tires faster than most bikes but that sure does seem like an awfully short tread life.

my front bt021 was a piece of shit i only got 3000 miles out of it. i got 5100 out of the rear bto21 witch is about right. i just put the new bt023 on the rear because the pilot road 2ct's i wanted are on nation wide back order for my size, ill let you know what i think of it soon, i can already tell you its a harder compound in the center. and as for the pilot road 2ct i have on the front so far i fricken love it.

p.s. mine and glens trouble with the bto21 where very different my front tire shredded bridgestone said it was under inflated and to run it at 42 pounds compared to the 32 pounds Kawasaki owner manual calls for.

yah i'm noy easy on the bike but come yhe f%^k on if you can't get 3500 to 4000 out of a front tire then don't even make the tire. if a 75 horsepower ninja 650 is getting 3gs out of it then why in the hell would you put it on a 140 horsepower bike. i may be a little off on the horsepower but you get the idea. well i'm going to go with pilot roads 2 if i can get them in my size

tiger and i got fairly close to the same mileage saturday....i might have gotten a lil better than him but only by a few miles...

he filled up before me and i got the low fuel light right outside gordonville and he said his popped on in marble hill .... so bout 20 miles ish difference....idk how many miles he did before we started on his tank either

Took the day off and rode out to Arcadia Valley. Went 72 out (they have COMPLETELY ruined that road). Ate at Bailey Jo's BBQ....neat little place that looks very biker friendly. Great BBQ. Took Hwy E back to Fredericktown then down 72. The best part of the trip is when a mature bald eagle flew about 30 ft above me right at the Madison/Iron county line. He was huge and quite an impressive sight. Flew off before I could get off the bike and get a picture.

Right outside of Millersville, there was a guy dressed in a white robe, white hat and a big wooden cross on his neck walking down the side of the highway. Waved. Freak. This is the same guy who was down in Chaffee on the side of the road on Saturday when we were on the poker run. Guess he is just "spreadin' the word".
