hmm, well I normally like the zx6r, I don't care for that one too much, might be the year, or maybe that color, lol.
Plus, the zx6r is an inline four, and I thought you guys were telling me to stick with a twin?

I'm liking the looks of the sv650s, and don't care for the ninja 500's, to old of styling. But if I went for the 500 range, I would probably see about the early-mid 2000 model of a Buell Blast. Those look pretty nice and reasonably priced.

Plus this eBay seller has EXCELLENT feedback, so I feel confidant the bike will be like they say, but it's true that it might not have been taken care of and run as good as expected.

decisions, decision.... the sv650s will be in the cheaper range of insurance for me, as opposed to the zx6r, which is over $500 a year more for the same coverage (full coverage of course).

I have to decided a yes or no on the suzuki by tomorrow afternoon... but I'll keep looking until then. thanks for all the help and input guys! I just hope I get the one I'll be happy with!

Ok, after thinking a lot of thing. Out, I'm gonna find one local. I'm pretty sure the Suzuki woul be a great bike, but on that chance that it's not, and it hasn't
been taken care of, I don't want to spend $2000 on junk. So I'll just spend a little more or something local.

I think I'll see about that FZ6 I mentioned a few days ago. Gonna search Craigslist again for now tho.

Thanks for all the help!!

Glad to hear you bike is back together Jim!

And thanks for the postings, I found a few tonight also, Im gonna go back through them
and pick out the best ones and probably post them here for opinions. I'll keep the two sv's in mind also. Would prefer the sv650s, but it's not like it's gonna be my last bike, I think reliability is my biggest concern now.

Well I would prefer something other than the ninja 500, I can't finance a bike. I don't have a credit history, and I've only been working at my current job for 9 months now. So no banks, or dealerships will look at me without a cosigner. Which I don't have.

But thanks for the help, I'll pass on the bike in WI, since I can't see it before and look for something local.

I was going to suggest Craig's List. That is the best place to find a bike locally. I would check in St Louis and Memphis. Both close enough that you could go check out a potential bike.

The economy sucks and when that happens, folks get desperate for cash. When you have a bike sitting in the garage and you need to make your house payment, the bike is going to go. Keep that in mind when negotiating prices with someone. You have the upper hand if you have the cash.

Thanks, I'll keep searching Craigslist. I've been looking around Springfield and Jonesboro area also, those are pretty close to me also. Since I'm about 30 mins south of the bluff.

it's about the same as we are being that bluff is 30 min or more from piedmount. wappapello has some sweet roads. they just tend to have gravel and sticks in the roads.
