Well I was the only sport bike on ride night. But I led the ride. And thank's to anyone who came to the USO bike show and ride.
Our next ride night is June 9th.

yeah i know last years rides were not as big as they should have been. i was really wanting to change that this year, but it looks like a few of us have jumped over to cruisers and the rest are not here or just not either riding or not posting the rides.

if anyone is wanting to ride next weekend let me know.

iroc,
did you keep the BMW? i really like the gsxr600 you picked up. what do you think about it so far?

no i traded it off for the gsxr. i always kinda missed my cbr i suppose and i wanted a brand new something (a bike in this case) just once in my life.

i did feel a little betrayed by grassroots the day after i traded for it tho...
i felt they called weiser tellin them i abandoned an appt to fix my final drive bearing when all they saw was a few metal shavings in a reareand that had 55k miles on it.. and traded it off instead. when i did speak to them and relayed that the bike was quiet and not makin any noise so i didnt want to spend an additional $250 to replace a bearing that they didnt know if it was bad or not....anyways im a lil upset over that ....

but yea the bike seems great so far...320 miles and i havent broken 6k rpms so im takin my time and we will see what happens from here

EDIT: also there couldve been a communication issue at grassroots cause i called at 10 am and spoke to the mechanic and we decided it sounded ok...maybe no one bothered telling Herb this conversation occured...

nothing wrong with a new bike at all. what made you go for the gsxr? that's pretty shitty of grassroots to get involved in something that has really nothing to do with them. then again they may try to fix the bike for weizer. you have a new bike and seems like you are happy so forget them.
