there's a couple companies that do online quotes, but the most accurate information will be had from a face to face conversation with an agent.

The best price that I found by far when insurance shopping was with dairyland/sentry.

sentry! Very nice people. It's the cheapest I've found, WITH the best coverage/options.

go under your parents. only way to get cheap rates under 25 with decent coverage (assuming they have decent driving records)

well, for me, 20 years old with a clean driving record (atleast the one infraction on had didnt show up....) I got 360 dollars a year with sentry w/ full coverage on my 99 SV650 (first bike). I was shocked. They will even insure up to 3 grand worth of mods, should the bike be totaled (and if I keep all of the receipts).

Well I'm 19 with a clean record paying $240 a yr for liability on an 04 GSXR 600 through progressive. I wanted full coverage but that would cost $1,250 a yr...a little to much for a college student.

They won't look for your infraction...until you go to make a claim. Then it's "I see here you got a ticket that you didn't tell us about. Good luck on getting your bike fixed."

There's nothing an insurance claims adjuster loves more than a customer who misrepresents a few 'indiscretions' in their history. It's a get out of jail free card for the insurance company.

Mix ignorance with arrogance at low altitude and the results are almost guaranteed to be spectacular.

the "ticket" happened on a military installation. It was bs at that, but I wont get into it. I had to take a drivers course and got no points on base, I asked the LT and he said it wont show up anywhere else, on base, or off through my insurance. Im not really worried about it. Base tickets are a joke, they arent even really tickets.
