05-06 GSX-R1000 Frame Recall

For those who don't venture out of the Florida forum, there's a recall on the 05-06 GSX-R1000 frames!

I just got my letter in the mail....even though I don't own the bike anymore.

That's some crazy shit right there!

So who wants to ride a 140+ hp motorcyle with a 'braced' frame?

Remember Those who no longer ride, and carry them with you when you ride. . . .

When they recalled the 06 and 07 zx14 my frame had to be replaced. The guy could not believe that an 07 bike had 20629 mi. this was in May. The frame had cracks at the welds and you cannot reweld you must replace. Took them ten weeks to get the frame and put everything off my bike on the new frame. And the Vin # is the same.
