Undercover Jeans-
A case of the Blues you will WANT to have!

The problem that has faced riders for years has been finding riding pants that have style without looking like your part of a biker gang. Well for the last several years the sport bike community has been searching for a better option than Cordura, leather, or camouflage pants.
Undercover jeans has come up with a high end solution, Kevlar reinforced jeans.
They have combined the strength of Kevlar with Keprotec, a proven abrasion resistant fiber that works to help maintain the fit and stretch of the denim. The jean itself is triple stitched and has a full lining to it, mesh on the top and a traditional liner on the bottom half which makes them very easy to get on and off.
The denim itself is a very heavy grade and feels like double the thickness of a normal pair of jeans. The cut is a little interesting, the fit is generous but the rise on my misshapen backside seems a little low. The cuff itself is very bell bottom like so getting them over any pair of boots should be no problem unless you are wearing hip waders.
Once I got on my Ducati the issue with the rise became more apparent, it got a little drafty back there, and I hadn’t moved yet. The bell bottom cut of the pant leg seemed to want to catch on my foot peg when taking my foot off so be careful. Once on the road though they felt really comfortable and my stumpy legs- call me stumpy, were enjoying the heavier denim as rode by Lake Michigan on this sunny March day. The fabric seemed to move well on the seat so no complaints. During the course of my ride they performed very well, and as soon as I can crash test them, LOL, I will report on it.
At 179.00 they are on the higher end of the denim market but if you have the opportunity to touch feel or fondle a pair you will see that the attention to detail and quality of materials are well worth the money. On my personal scale these rate a Must Have, as part of any rider’s arsenal of clothing.
I will do a follow up later in the season when I have worn them more and can speak to how they break in.
