The Mainframe Hooligan sports a sophisticated venting system and removable/washable cheek pads. A no-tool replacement visor system make swapping out shields a no-hassle experience, and a removable anti-fog breath deflector comes standard. The Icon Mainframe Hooligan's shell utilizes a combination of fiberglass and Dyneema with dual-density styrene for the liner to keep the helmet light without compromising strength.

Can't reply to my own, so I'll review this (although I have an older pearl white solid mainframe). The chin vent is okay, top one doesn't appear to do too much. I only have a Vemar VSR for reference, but compared to that the liner in the mainframe is scratchy and the helmet is noisy. Less airflow and heavier too. Overall, I think the higher end helmets are better for the money (if you have some extra money). I got mine for 100, so it was a decent enough deal. Getting it at MSRP is too much though.

I got a blue one last year off ebay, the person that had it had bought it and then had to sell the bike so i got it for 75 buck +20 for s/h. one of the best things that i have gotten from ebay. Very comfortable, able to see good out of, also went to local shop and got a blue face shield for it. matches real good with the blue on the 07 R1. just ordered a pink one for my Girl friend. it was 102.5 +s/h
