We've all seen the Gravity Games and seen the Street Luge guys and the leathers they wear, right? well if not take a look at the name on the suits, a fair amount of then will say NJK. Who you ask? NJK is a man named Kelcey Gordon who is a saftey nut. He is a former Speedway racer who started in the business by making his own as well as some of his buddies suits. He's been at it since 1985 and is still going strong. Now he is offering Jackets with the same eye towards safety that many who have worn his racesuits in the past and present already know.
I started this adventure last summer in a quest for a new custom racesuit. I had my pick of leather makers in SoCal to work with and chose Kelsey as he is abit fanatical about his product and safety, but while there I saw he had a rack of jackets and inquired about them. In the end he provided the two jackets that you see here.
Fit is very good and comes with the CE Foam covered hard armor, not just foam pads on the elbows and shoulders. Not only that but the jacket has a CE Foam back protector. All in all a nicely featured jacket. I have riden about a year now with this jacket and it really is a nice winter (if you can call what we have in SoCal winter) jacket, throw a sweatshirt underneath and your good to go. Also for night safety sake the jacket also has refective piping on the arms and the logos are refective as well, to increase night visability.
If you are in the market for a high quality jacket but dont want to go broke, I recommend NJK highly.
