Description: The 620 Dark – with its matte finish and clean lines – captures the essence of the Monster style, as well as offering outstanding value. Available in single disc brake version with 5 gears and twin disc version with 6 gears.
Its reliability and smooth power delivery make the 620 easy to ride. Plus, the light weight of the Ducati air-cooled, Desmodue, L-twin engine makes this model a breeze to handle.

Pros:
Cons:

Having owned many Ducatis and still currently own four. I really like the 620 Monster for what it is. A small entry level bike that will put a smile on the face of most rideres whether they are an experienced rider or a beginer. While this is the entry level Ducati Monster dont take for granted that its a whimpy motorcycle. While its not a GSXR, R1, or any of the other latest greatest Hypercycles out there, it does what it does with Ducati style.
While the performance is not likely to satisfy the "need for speed" that some have it definitely fills the void that an entry level bike should. The wet clutch is virtually maintainance free and works well. The brakes however for the 05 model have been changed to a 2 piston front caliper with a 300mm rotor and not really what one expects from a Ducati, at least not someone who is used to the 4 piston calipers and 320mm rotors.
