A little noisy, shield can fog easily if humid outside

To be honest, I bought this lid because of the design. I\'m normally an Arai guy, but this one I had to have.
I will say that it\'s proven very durable. The finish hasn\'t chipped and the mechanisms all work well. The simple D-Ring fastener is easy to use, even with gloves on.
The ventilation is great. You can really feel the airflow and it seems to hit the right spots.
The shield is easy to remove and it doesn\'t give you the \"I\'m going to twist it until it snaps\" feel of Arai\'s mechanism.
All in all, I\'m very happy.

I've owned this model of helmet for several years and have enjoyed every minute of it. The quality is outstanding, and once you start wearing it you'll know why it costs so much. I was involved in an accident while wearing my old X-11 and it did its job admirably, it barely even got scratched and sustained only one small chip in the finish (I replaced it with another X-11).
The liner is nice, but I especially enjoy the fact that it's completely removable. I wear my helmet just about every day, and it can get pretty knarly after a while. At least with this helmet you can just pop out the liner and throw it in the washing machine. I've washed the liner many times and it's never fallen apart or deteriorated. Another nice feature is that you can order different sized cheek pads for a more customized fit.
The only down side is that the helmet is louder than my previous Shoei model (RF800), but this is to be expected with the increase in ventilation options available in the X-11. I wear earplugs most of the time anyway, but the difference was noticable. But I'll trade a little extra noise for great ventilation any day of the week.

I have been using my X-Eleven for a year and a half now.
It is DEFINITLY worth the money. Shop around and you can find them for well below MSRP.
Ventilation is excellent. As the previous poster stated, you can actually feel a breeze over your scalp.
The sheild is quick to change and has a lever to allow you to lock it in the vent position or lock the sheild closed. I have not used the latter feature since the sheild stays closed on it's own even at 150mph.
I have a Bostrom Rep. The finish is outstanding. One nice feature on the Bostrom is that the "32" is a decal that does not come installed. I left mine off because I think it looks cleaner.
The interior is extremely comfortable. It wicks sweat well on those days you get stuck in summer traffic. Different size pads are available for a custom fit.
The Aerodynamics are the best of any helmet I have ever worn. You can actually do a head check at 100mph+ without getting your head ripped off.
I can't tell you if the helmet is noisy or not. I wear earplugs whenever I ride. (trying to keep what hearing I have left).
