I bought this jacket in mid 2005, and as of this writing (1/08), it's still my primary street jacket.
It has held up well to the Florida sun and frequent rain showers. It's been completely soaked on more than one occasion, and the dye has never bled, which is more than I can say for some more expensive brands.
The vent system is efficient enough to keep me comfortable in the heat of a Florida summer. I had a mesh jacket, but I never wore it b/c the Roxie is cool enough with the vents unzipped.
There are two zippered pockets on the outside, and one largish inside pocket that is more than big enough to carry a cell phone or small digital camera. The outside pockets are also big enough for a cell phone.
The zip-out quilted vest liner is warm, but would be better if it were full sleeve.
The fit of the jacket is outstanding. It's cut for a woman's figure, with no excess material to bunch up. The cut is slightly longer than most womens jackets, so exposed skin on your back is not as much of an issue. The arms are also a touch longer, and narrow and sleek at the wrists, so there is no problem wearing gauntlet gloves over them.
There are adjustment zippers on each side of the waist to customize the fit somewhat, but no adjustable waist straps, which aren't really needed anyway due to the fitted cut of the jacket.
My only complaint is that some of the stitching has started to come undone around the wrists. But not enough to cause serious damage. It could be easily fixed, if I was motivated enough to take it somewhere, or fix it myself.
Overall, I really love this jacket. It performs, fits and looks amazing. Surprising for a brand known for it's economical prices. I'm always trying on new jackets to see if I can find anything I like better, but so far taking into consideration cost, features, appearance & fit, nothing has beat it.
