I was looking at the Joe Rocket Nicky Hayden leather replica Repsol jacket, because I was infatuated with the graphics, and my bike\'s paint scheme is Repsol. I already own a Joe Rocket Speedmaster leather jacket, so I knew it was well made. However, the $500 price tag was hard to swallow. Last year, when I saw the Repsol textile on  ridegear.com for $159 + free shipping, I jumped at it. (The jacket must be selling well, because they raised their price to $179.)
I\'m a big rider (6\'3\" 250lbs) and the XL size fits me perfect. It really is a nice summer weight jacket that keeps you cool, but still has sufficient armor where you need it. I had a little get off just south of Philly and suffered no skin rash whatsoever.
If you are looking for a Repsol replica, but balk at the $500 price tag for the leather version, I highly recommend the textile jacket.
