Pros: Super sticky, decent in the wet
Cons: average mileage, when they\'re gone they\'re gone!!

The M1 sportecs are a predictable street tire with track like characteristics. Heat up fairly quick and stick great. Over-heated and they start to become a little slick. Mileage is decent for the price but knowing your tire isn\'t going to break loose mid corner is worth the money!

Pros:
Cons:

I have a track day and about 1000 miles on the tires. I have to say they are great for the money I spent. They warm up quick and I have decent life and wear out of them so far.

Well after about 2000 miles i have decided that I will not buy another set of M-1 sport techs. Just kidding! I enjoy the wonderful feeling of control they give me. I have never ridden on a tire that has made me feel so comfortable. The tire seems to warm up amazingly fast, but it still performs great after long hot rides. When i hit a patch of sand or fine gravel the tire does not seem to slip as much as my prevoius tires have. I really enjoy the metz and I would recomend them to anyone interested in a good set of tires.

Pros: decent price, great handling
Cons: they aren\'t free

The metzs have been good for me. Mostly I ride pretty quick but when I do ride balls to the wall, they hold!!!!

Pros:
Cons:

when i got my rc back in october 04' they had 208's on it, them fukkers would let go mid corner when i would get ont he gas, then i hit a pothole. i replaced them with mets m1 sportechs and will never go back to loppy's. i have since put on over 19,000 miles on m1's and i have only had the rear slip once and it was my fault. When it happened i got on the gas a bit too hard full lean and they let go just enough to say "hey were close to our limit" but recovered with ease. I get about 12,000 miles on the front before i get a square off from braking that causes me to change it, and about 4,000 on the rear before metal shows. I by far love them and they have great feedback and would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive tire that handles and sticks great. Good price too expect $130 for rear and about $80 front size 120/190

04' rc-51 0 miles showroom floor, now have over 19,000 miles on it.

I love my M1's! I have been riding on mine now for about 4500 miles on them and they have never skipped a beat. I haven't ridden on the track with them and I'm not a balls to the wall rider either, but I put my fair share of rubber on the street in the mountains on them. I'm trying out the new M3's next.
