Pros:
excellent ventilation, good protection on palms, very comfortable
Cons:
not good protection on backside of fingers, not guantlet style, inside stitching on fingertips are kind of bulky
I actually really like these gloves, but I also know my risk for wearing them. I know that most hand injuries are major rash on palms, and I believe these gloves to have adequate protection there. They also vent really well, but this is due to the mesh on the backside. The knuckle protectors are kind of half-assed. I think they would do fine, but they aren\'t molded so you won\'t be punching windows out with them. They do have a thick rubber on the backhand (not fingers). They also aren\'t gauntlet so you wrist are on their own.
In the end, I think these give me adequate protection, but I also understand my risk to getting rash on my wrists and possibly the backside of my fingers. They\'re cool (temperature wise) enough and comfortable enough to make me wear them every time I ride, and to me that\'s most important.
