Pros: Sturdy, low profile, comfortable.
Cons: Velcro closures could be more secure.

Veyr stiff when they first arrived, and when flexing my ankle I heard \"chh chhhh chhh\" as the velcro closures were slowly coming undone. This lasted about 400 miles until the boots were broken in.

It got so bad that I made my own nylon straps to secure the ankles, which may I add turned out very nicely.

After the break in period the velcro stopped coming undone and I didn\'t *need* to use my straps at all, but continued to because I did such a nice job on them and they were extremely secure closures.

Other than the velcro, that I suppose wouldn\'t be a problem after the break in, the boots felt very sturdy. The toes, heel, ankle, and sole were heavily reinforced, with quality leather and stitches in place.
