This is a very good bot as far as riding goes. It\'s very comfortable when you\'re on the bike, and makes shifting gears and applying the rear brake very easy. The boot is pretty form-fitting in the bottom part. Because of this, you want to try on several different sizes. The nature of the beast is that one size will be perfect for you, but the two closest to it (bigger and smaller) will seem ok, but will be a lot worse than the one you need. The part of the boot above the ankle is adjustable enough that even a person with large calves can feel comfortable and secure in the boot. The replaceable guards are a plus, and you can find them online fairly easily. Comfort is not an issue on the bike, but I wouls not reccomend this boot for walking around for an extended amount of time. Anything over an hour and discomfort starts to set in. But then again, that\'s not what it was made for.
