Keeps the dust off. If the bike outside it repells the water well.

Tight fit can be good. But you can still see part of under the bike.

Honestly it was a great purchase. Had it for 3 years now. nylon has never ripped or even faded. Keeps dust out very well. Doesnt scratch paint either. Great Buy.

I had this cover a few years back on my yellow/black CBR 929rr. After a few rain storms (I had applied a waterproofing spray), I noticed some dark spots on my seat (Second look) and rear fairing decals. I\'d do my best to clean it off, and it\'d come back the next time it rained. Come to find out, the dye in the cover was bleeding onto the paint/seat/decals and causing a dark stain. Even after washing it with deturgent (water had a slight blue tint after the wash) it would still stain the bike when wet. Spoke with Dowco and they were very helpful. They replaced my cover with the next version down (which is light gray) and paid for parts and labor to repair all the stained items on the bike. No problems since. Do take care in putting the cover on the bike, not allowing the silver lower panels to touch the paint. They will cause scratches if you drag them over the paint.
