MotoGP race looked boring on TV. Some excitement at the beginning is all. Shame that Spies bike gave out. Would liked to have seen him on the podium.
Good to see Dovi in 3rd; not a favorite of mine but he has talent and deserves it.
Still a three man sprint to the championship it seems. Pulling for Lorenzo still, but if Pedro stays in good format this could be his year.
Looking forward to seeing Rossi and JLo duke it out next season!
Interesting that wildcard rider Rapp finished alongside Colin. Hmmkay...

The race was actually pretty good live. I really think if Spies didn't blow his motor that he would have been on the box. The best race out of all three races was the Moto3 race. Lots of scraping going on the entire race. I just read an article that Indy in confirmed on the MotoGP calendar for 2013 August 16-18, 2013. I'm in unless something happens.
They said yesterday that there was 65,000 plus fans at the race yesterday. The ride to Indy was a chilly one. I really dressed for the ride home. Got to the gate 10 entrance at about 830. Pulled in and rode up the back stretch and parked right in front of the gear check building. Had a good time, talked to some guys from Toronto. Sat in the stands at the start finish line with some cute girls from France that had never been to a MotoGP race before. They had tones of questions. Stayed for the HD XR1200 race and then headed out. The traffic wasn't that bad because I think allot of people left after the MotoGP race.
Vendor alley was lacking this year. Oh well. I bought a MotoGP hat and that was it. I have enough t-shirts.
How's the healing coming along. October is just around the corner.

Arm still in a brace, therapy 2x a week. Doc appt on 9/5, I plan to wear him down on getting back to my routine soon. I have been exercising a lot to try and convince him. If I can't ride I'll just come and camp and relax, maybe hike some.
Guys on the 10r forum said a gang was setting up a memorial for Sic at T8/9 where we usually sat. Fair number of them got together at the race from the looks of it.
I predict Austin will be the death of Indy. If you look at the track compared to the other circuits, there isn't much to be excited about aside from the front straight speeds. Doubtful they will have 3 races in the US. We need to plan a CALIFORNIA trip, ride some and watch the race there

What's up with Spies going from a Factory Yamaha ride to Pramac Ducati satilite team in 2013? Big mistake Ben..... I think it will be the death of his MotoGP career. But perhaps we will see Ben back in World SuperBike. Who knows??

Wow!! What a last race of the season for 2012. Never seen so many crashes. The entire race what a craps shoot.

Lorenzo took the big spill. That wobble by Crutchlow almost looked like he fell off the bike until I saw the replay. Kudos to Jorge for trying to save that crash.

Did you see the moto2 race? Mark Marquez starts on the grid last place for penalty from qualifying. And wins the race. Can't wait to see this kid next year on Stoner's bike.

Hey Ray what are your plans for MotoGP in Indy this year? Are camping at the LHRCG?
Anyone else planning on attending this year?

Looks like Mr. Marc Marquez is going to give the old boys a run for there money this season. I was reading where he dominated the test sessions in Austin, Texas. Can't wait for Qatar race on April 7th.
Anyone know whats up with the Speed Channel this season? They don't seam to be running the SBK World SuperBike races like in the past. What gives?

What a race! Looks like Vale is back, but Marc is going to give him a run for his money.
