If I had to get a new bike today and it couldn't be another ZZR it would be a Repsol edition CBR1000RR... Why... Because I like the look.

id like to have a 636, i rode the hell outta my friends and i like it alot more than the zzr it handles better is waaay lighter and more nimble and i can really muscle it around and play on it.

CBR1kRR can be had cheap about now. They are trying to unload 08's like crazy.

It might have somthing to do with the last few years models having either oil burning or oil leaking problems. The CBR forum has been talking about it for a while. And '09 was a new body style so the '08's are obselete. Haha. But you are right Pork, I know a guy who just got a new one 2 weeks ago and paid around $7000. Thats pretty cheap for a 1000.

your right...gsxrs are a dime a dozen...but i rather buy something and put my own twist on it than buy a $26,000 bike and see the exact same one roll around town at some point...Ducs are nice dont get me wrong...There amazing looking bikes...just dont see the hype...plus for $26000 for a SEMI rare bike...you can buy 2 bikes personalize them your own way and make it just as rare...and prob something that will stomp that $26000 dollar bike

I was playing with the idea of picking one up for around that. They also had cruisers going to the same price. Wifey wants one. Never took the time to try and talk em down. Ima wait till around xmas and see if they still have 08's and maybe get 2 bikes for around 10k otd.
