Hey I forgot to ask you. I see the socks come in two sizes. I wear a size 9. What size feet do you have and what size socks did you buy? Thanks

Your welcome Riding gear is very important. Not saying it will say your life, but it's going to help minimize your injuries if you go down.

I'm sporting an Arai Corsair RX7 brain bucket, Joe Rocket GPX gloves, Oxford waterproof touring boots, textile convertible jacket (cortech) and matching riding pants. It's all fairly comfortable and economical gear with the bucket being the pricey item. It's all waterproof too (except the gloves) so getting caught in the rain isn't a big deal (unless the jacket is converted to mesh ... )

I finally ordered three pairs of the DeFeet MotoSox. Can't wait to try them out.

The three pairs of Defeet MotoSox that I ordered finally arrived to day. I tried a pair of them on. My first impressions about the socks is that they appear to be very well made. And they are really really comfortable too Going to see how they hold up with washing and riding. I'm going to wear them on my Blue Ridge Parkway trip in September which going to be close to 2000 miles in 5 days. Then I'll let you know if I really like them enough to buy more. But for now thanks for the tip about the socks.

Yup...those are the same ones that I have. Mine have held up very well, worn and washed weekly. Enough so, that I've ordered 3 more pairs!

I got the new Alpinestars Stunt Leather jacket and its great. It has expandable panels in the sleves so its not tight but fits comfortable. Try one of those on. The new model has alot of features last years didn't have. Well worth the $400.

Besides that I have the Shoei RF1000 and its nice and light weight. Its a great helmet. I need to get some gloves and boots still.
