there is one made by hotbodies, one by jiapin, and another sold by pit-tek. anybody have experiences with any of these. I don't want to spend 180 bux if I can get similar quality for half that.....

I don't have any personal experience with the products on ebay, so these may or may not be better...just another option.
Previously branded as Mototeck, now Rack in Motion. There are several SBN members with this undertail on their bikes (mine included). It is only available in primer, so you'd need to paint to match your bike.

In regard to the rear tire hugger, Pyramid Plastics makes a nice one; again several SBN members with this product (mine included). A link to Pyramid's web site, as well as Rev's Performance (state side distributor).

You should be able to search the forum for pictures of these products installed on a ZZR.
Personally, I'm very pleased with both the products mentioned above. My only complaint about the Mototeck undertail is that the small piece that curves up between the two circles of the tail light is slightly off center.
Good luck!

I have the regular abs black pyramid hugger approx 125 on ebay and I love it, my friend bought the CFR fiberglass for approx 79.99 on ebay and its a good paint match, fit, and inexpensive but I don't like fiberglass there. I also have the cheapo 79.99 black undertail from ebay and its a great fit and paint match (black) so its a good value but the paint is thin and cheap.

I'm sorry I actually have a Powerbronze rear hugger... I was just thinking P-word. There is a carbon look one on ebay right now but I don't see the black. The black goes for $140 shipped and comes with all the required hardware and rubber dampening mounts which rock cause I have a feeling my friends fiberglass hugger will crack from vibration.

eBay Motors: PLASTIC KAWASAKI ZX6R 98-02 ZZR6 05/07 UNDERTAIL (item 290237703026 end time Jun-16-08 20:20:28 PDT)
I went with this one, and my god I will be happy if I never ever have to install an undertail on a zzr again!! lol But it looks nice and I like that the turns are not integrated. Pix to come as soon as I get a few xtra mins.
