Cooling System 3-6, Page 78. This would be a good place to start. It's your choice how you mix your coolant. But be sure to use bottled spring water.

I thought it was supposed to be distilled water?

I just buy the premix coolant now. A little more expensive but less hassle.

Service manual says "soft water", thanks that's what I meant.

You shouldn't "just use water wetter"... water wetter helps keep coolant temp down, doesn't act as a coolant... listen to rocket and start with the manual... buy some coolant, premixed or not, then do about 50/50 coolant/water, if not already premixed obviously, and add the specified amount of water wetter in the middle of your coolant filling, so that you top off with coolant/water mix, not water wetter

well it's done pulled l/r fairings and there is a drain plug on the botton of water/oil pump lowest bolt on there.mixed water wetter with about 20% antifreeze and the temp hasn't went past 189. usually runs 210 or so.Im happy i guess after all the water wetter was free, and it needed a coolant change
