that plastic is def repairable. LOW grit sand paper, and there is a company that makes the exact paint for motorcycles. Ill find where that is and post a link....dont buy new plastic just for those scrapes..thats alot of $$$ to spend when the plastics are still in good shape, minus the scrape.
even its cracked a little, you can still fix it.

Having trouble finding parts for your 2005-2008 ZZR600? Try searching for parts that will fit a 2000-2002 ZX6R "J" model.

The 2005-2008 ZZR600 has one gas tank! It holds at total of 4.8 gallons of which 3.7 is available until you have to switch to reserve to use the remaining 1.1 gallons of gas.

Okay all, started work on the bike today and have a bit of a concern about the stator coil. None of the wires are cut, but 2 wires small flat spots on them where it looks like they rubbed on the inside portion of the alternator rotor.
I read in the manual about how to test the generator but i can't start the bike until i replace the stator cover, and I don't want to replace the cover and then have to disassemble it again if the coils are bad. Can you guys take a quick look at the pictures below and let me know what you think about the coils?

Got her fixed up and running like new again. Rather than fix the turn signal i just integrated them (cost less than buying a new signal). The only thing I haven't done is replace the fairing. I have the new one in my garage, but I'm waiting till I get some frame sliders.
