I'm confused by what MOTOTECK says on their website. Is there a license plate light on their undertail? I'm assuming I will also have to buy a relay for the LED's on the signals that come with it to slow them down?

If I purchase this undertail and have to buy the relay to slow down the LED turn signals, will I also have to purchase another relay for the front flush-lines like you have on yours or will one relay fix the blinker issues for both front and back?

Dude, I appreciate your help. I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff.

Just a warning: I ordered a primer undertail from them on the 3rd and my order is still "processing" according to their website. I've emailed them three times to check on my order and have gotten no response. And the number on their website gives you a message in French, which I don't understand. If anyone speaks French, please call and let me know what it says. 1-405-491-1888

Yes the undertail has one very bright white LED for the license plate light. It works quite well too.

The answer to your question is yes.

Every light on my 2006 ZZR600 is an LED except for the headlights and the center running light. Which are Sylvania Silverstar 9003 ST/2 (same fit as H4 type) High Performance Headlight Bulbs and the
center running light bulb is a Xenon Lightning Whiter 12V5W XL-194WK.

I have a total of 91 LED's on the bike.

Anyway if you you try and hook LED turn signals to the stock turn signal relay it's going to flash to fast. Some states required that turn signal bulbs flash a certain number of flashes per minute. I'm not sure of what kind of knowledge you have about LED's. But LED's put a very high resistance on an electrical system unlike regular filament light bulbs. So you have to put some resistance back into the electrical system and this is were the load resistor comes into play. You basically tricking or re-adjusting the system to work as if it were still using regular filament bulbs which put resistance on the electrical system of the bike.

I currently have the MOTOTECK paint matched undertail with amber LED's and clear lenses and the MOTOTECK flushline front turn signals with amber LED's and clear lenses installed on my 2006 ZZR600.

When I did the installation of the MOTOTECK products I had the problem that you are currently experiencing. I used a Tridon EL12 Electronic Flasher $8.99 from AutoZone and one Kuryakyn Load Equalizer # 6004865 that I purchased for $5.00 at the dealership for the entire turn signal system. It has two purple wires and one black wire. On the MOTOTECK undertail LED's all I did was tap into one black wire with the black wire from the load equalizer and tap into each yellow wire with each of the two purple wires. I then plugged the Tridon EL12 flasher relay back into the female connectors that I had installed on the wires. Make sure you plug the Orange wire into the "L" marked on the bottom of the EL12 relay. I used some double sided tape and mount the load equalizer to the rear frame. And presto. I turned the key and turned on my hazard flashers and they flash at a normal rate, just like stock turn signals do. Turn signals right and left also work properly. Problem fixed. If you need any other help on this subject please feel free to ask. I would be more than glad to help. Jay

Here's another option for you.

The 2005-2008 ZZR600 has one gas tank! It holds at total of 4.8 gallons of which 3.7 is available until you have to switch to reserve to use the remaining 1.1 gallons of gas.

THE ORDER MUST GO THROUGH CUSTOMS.

It takes about a week and a half JUST for it to go through customs...sometimes longer than that, after that you will be emailed an Order tracking number from I think UPS or FedEx. So it will appear as "Processing" until UPS or FedEx receives the package here in the good ole US of A

It took a long while for me to get my undertail also...cause customs has to rip open your package...look at it...repackage and send...apparently thats a 1-3week long task..haha

Thanks. That sounds like a response I should have gotten from them, if they responded to emails. I didn't remember it taking that long when I ordered my flushmounts. Oh well, guess I'll just wait patiently...

yah, not sure why their contact part of the website seems to be a void that leads to nowhere...

the tail section probably takes longer because its a larger package that has to go through...the box mine came in was pretty big (and kinda beat up from customs workers)

Thanks for the help! When I get everything I might have some more questions. Being in the fitness/supplement industry doesn't give me a good background in electronics, lol. I appreciate you helping me out.

Was anything damaged from them opening it and checking it out? Any scratches or anything broken? That would really piss me off if I order the MOTOTECK undertail and flush-line blinkers and they came damaged and I had to do the whole process over again. Sounds like also I should order now if I expect to have it on by Spring since it takes so long...

no nothing was damaged. Just the box. the undertail is very sturdy so i wouldnt imagine it would come damaged even if the box was mutilated.

you should expect delivery about 3-4weeks from order date...which is normal when ordering out of country.

I ordered the Mototeck undertail! Hopefully it doesn't take a month to get here from Canada. They asked for your SS#, which I found odd and only gave them the last 4 digits. I didn't feel comfortable giving them my SS# so hopefully that doesn't prolong the process and I get my order soon.

they require your SSN so they can ship to the USA...customs requires it.

The last 4 digits wouldn't be good enough? I looked on the customs website and I couldn't find a clear answer as to if you have to give them the whole thing or not. I really couldn't even find a definite answer on if they would need it for the type of purchase this is...

I'm not really sure why they need the whole thing though... If they have the name/address/phone/email/etc, why would they need the SSN? If they open up the box and check it out, as long as it isn't a firearm or ammo, I'm not sure why they would need the number. Do they really want to do a full background check on me for ordering an undertail and some lights? Seems silly to me...
