Whats up everybody! newbie with some questions?

Whats up from Oklahoma. I have owend my zzr since june of 07. Baught it brand new, ebony black. Off the show room floor with one mile. Love the bike! I have a yoshi rs 3 bolt on and intergrated clear tail light. Problem is around the middle of October my bike was @ a freinds house for a couple of days, so the only time i could pick it up, was when i got off of work @ 1 in the morning! Long story short, I was a mile from home and hit a damn DEER doing about 35 mph!!!!! Im ok! "Thanks leathers and helmet" sorry to say the deer is too!

Me and the bike flipped over the deer. It busted all my fairings and tweeked the sub frame barely. "enough to tell! can I heat it up and bend it back? and where is a good place to get new plastics? about $1100 from stealership. any suggestions would be greatlly appreciated. ANd is fiberglass any good? cause they have complete set for $450 on ebay?

first off glad you made it out OK, i had to replace my plastics and the cheapest i found was Babittsonline. As for the subframe ,ive seen numerous ones on Ebay for sale, but who knows if they arent tweaked too. But there are other guys here who know much more than myself when dealing with these issues. But give babbits a shot and see how it works out for you. My shipping was a little slow because they had to get the parts from Japan. Best of Luck and keep us posted

EmpireGP specializes in plastic repair. They're probably your best bet if your plastics can be salvaged.

Airtech is an option if you want to go aftermarket. Their pieces usually fit up ok.

When it comes to fiberglass, the motto really is "You get what you pay for". Cheap brands are typically a royal PAIN IN THE ASS to fit well.

If the deer had no insurance, contact a lawyer and sue. Seriously though - new bike and all, what about your insurance? Unless you paid the bike in full they would most likely require you have coverage.

Yeah had coverage. Liabilty! I went with the damn star card!!

It only cost about about $1200 in damage. My deductable was a grand! Im 24 and liabilty cost me a bill each month! I also own a 5.0 convert and a 90 s10 blazer with a big block! So speed is kinda my thing!

is there a place that i can find NON DRAG plastics?
