leds are made to last longer than regular bulbs so the strobe affect should not effect the life of them.

You may want to check with the DMV to see if there are any flasher rate requirements. Flashers that are flashing like a strobe lights tend to attract unwanted attention from law enforcement.

Here.....Use the quick clip on wire connectors to splice into you tail light so the little white LED will stay on. My MOTOTECK undertail has a red and black wire on the single white LED. I believe that I spliced the red wire on the under tail to the blue wire on one of the tail light bulbs and the black wire on the under tail to the red wire on the tail light. You need a constant power source. And your tail light is always on. You can't hurt it. One other thing. You spent all that cash on nice stuff. You might as well install it correctly so you can enjoy the bike without any problems instead of JERRY RIGGING IT and having problems because you didn't take the time to do it right the first time. Just my 2 cents, Jay
Air Force bases are full of airplanes that require electricians. Surely one of your buddies can help you figure out your little wiring problem. I consider myself to be a pretty mechanically inclined kind of guy. I have never had any formal training with electricity or wiring except for a residential electrical drafting class that I took back in 1983 when I was in college. I figured out the MOTOTECK flushline LED's and the MOTOTECK under tail on my own. I say go for it.

I just had a seizure looking at that electrical wiring diagram...It'd take me longer to figure out the diagram than to find the wire without it.

haha...i figured it out. 'Guess and check' is my middle name!
Plus I threw up a little when I looked at the diagram.
I rarely use my signals when I come home from work at night cause its midnight and noones out on the roads I take. Plus ive never had a problem with police around my area...ive had cops pace me at 20+ over the speed limit and they just turn the other cheek...although I shouldnt try and push my luck too much as it gets closer to 'riding season' for those who dont ride all year.

The Mototeks are the way to go. I wish they had a few more LEDs in there for just a bit more brightness but no complaints. It is kind of a pain in the butt to do it the first time but if you take your time and have fun with it. In retrospect any learning about your bike thing can be rewarding on several levels.
Weird, one of my resistors I have noticed has gone out and now my left front Mototek is unresisted (but goes normal sometimes too) maybe I should ask Mototek to replace it? I doubt they would, what d'yall think??

I used one Kuryakyn Load Equalizer # 6004865 to put just enough resistance on the Tridon EL12 electronic flasher relay to get the proper flash rate per minute with all of my MOTOTECK turn signals front and rear.

Rocket, so you think my resistor is not necessarily bad, just that the problem would fix itself with the equalizer? Where did you splice in / install the equalizer?

On the MOTOTECK undertail LED's all I did was tap into one black wire on the MOTOTECK undertail turn signals wire with the black wire from the load equalizer and tapped into each yellow wire on the MOTOTECK undertail with each of the two purple wires on the load equaliizer. I used double sized 3M tape to attach it the rear sub frame which is metal. The equalizer generates heat so you don't want it on plastic parts.
